Joe Public stay ahead ...thump Queen's Park 7-0

Joe Public FC and Economy Strikers registered comfortable victories Sunday to occupy the top positions of the bmobile National Super League standings.
Joe Public thumped Queen's Park Cricket Club (QPCC) 7-0, with a double from Ricardo Bennett (14th and 16th minutes) and a goal each from Brent Antoine (1st), Anthony Thompson (37th), Dexter Thornhill (55th), Ellis Dyette (70th) and Dorian Robinson (73rd).
Strikers shut out Defence Force 4-0 when Dorian Daniel (25th), Irvin Reyes (45th), Shervin Charles (80th) and Jesse Martinez (82nd) found the back of the net for their team.
After Sunday's results, Joe Public are ahead of Strikers on goal difference (10-9), with both teams on nine points from their three games to date.
Club Sando, who turned back East West Coaching School 4-1, kept apace and are in third with six points from two games.
In other Super League results, St Francois Nationals' Dwayne Alzola's 73rd minute goal neutralised M&M Harvard's strike from Christon Freitas in the 44th minute for a 1-1 stalemate; Carenage United, with goals from Clint Williams and Steven Edward, notched a 2-0 win over Harlem Strikers; and WASA FC's Fabian Garcia and Darrin Lewis netted one each for a 2-0 triumph over T&TEC.
The next round of Super League matches kicks off Sunday.
