LAST season’s winner and runners-up, Clico San Juan Jabloteh and bMobile Joe Public will clash in the feature match in Round Two of the T&T Professional Football League today. The two top clubs will square off at Marvin Lee Stadium, Macoya, in Tunapuna, from 5 pm. Thanks to a double from leading goalscorer, Antiguan Peter Byers, Jabloteh started the season on the right foot with a 3-1 victory over newcomers Ma Pau on Saturday. Joe Public, however, had to settle for a share of points as it was held 1-1 by Defence Force, after trailing as early as the 11th minute. Vibe CT 105 W Connection, a 4-1 winner over Tobago United, will be looking for full points against Neal and Massy Caledonia AIA at Larry Gomes Stadium in Malabar, from 5 pm. Caledonia was featured in a six-goal thriller with St Ann’s Rangers in its opening fixture, the match finishing even at 3-3. After the Connection-Caledonia clash today, Defence Force and North East Stars will meet, from 7 pm. North East Stars failed to get the start it wanted, going under 1-3 to United Petrotrin on Saturday. Petrotrin will be seeking full points, along with Jabloteh and W Connection, when it faces St Ann’s Rangers in the second match at Mannie Ramjohn Stadium in Marabella, from 7 pm. Ma Pau and Tobago United will be looking for it first points in the competition at the Marabella venue. Kick-off in that affair is 5 pm.
